Methodology

We looked at Cotswold Outdoor sales data and Google Trends from the past 3 years (2019-2021) to find out where the keenest campers of the United Kingdom are from.

Keenest Campers Rank: Based on the number of purchases made per 100,000 residents in each county, (2020-2021).
Camping Equipment Sales: Percentage based on the Year-on-Year change which compares the total number of camping equipment orders from 2019-2020.
Camping Related Searches: Based on the average monthly searches per 500,000 county residents, (2019-2021).
Most Popular Camping Items: Based on the number of products sold per county, (2020-2021).
